On Wednesday 16 March, starting at 8am and lasting approximately 2 hours, we will be carrying out maintenance work on some of our databases which will affect a number of services.
Logins to the VLE, Zoom, eVision, Kinetics, Planon, Kronos, YorSearch, online journals and any other systems that use single sign-on (Shibboleth) will be at risk during the work, however we have taken steps to limit the impact and are confident that most of these (including the VLE, Zoom and eVision) will be unaffected.
Various services will be unavailable while this work takes place and this includes, but is not limited to:
- Identity management system (IDM), which manages activities including password changes, password reset and account registration
- People database, including management of associates
- Authorised systems registration
- Module Catalogue staff admin interface (PMC)
- Optional Modules system
