Essential works to replaster the walls on the first floor mezzanine of Fairhurst will be taking place between Wednesday 4th November-Friday 6th November. During this time, a section of the ground floor corridor will be closed and sheeted off to protect the surrounding area from dust. The following access routes will be affected:

- The Music Library (LFA/014) will be closed
- There will be no movement possible through the ground floor corridor of Fairhurst

This consequently means that standard accessible routes will be impacted. If you require access to the upper floors of the Fairhurst building from the Morrell building, please speak to our reception desk or contact us on 01904 324497 and one of our team will be able to assist you with alternative step-free access via the External Fairhurst Lift.

Likewise, to access the Morrell and Burton buildings from the North Car Park, please use the route around the back of the Fairhurst and the external lift for step-free access. Our reception team is on hand during all opening hours for access support.

Additionally, finishing decorating work will be taking place on Monday 9th November, during which time the route through the corridor will be about half the normal width as each side will be barriered off as the works take place.
